"What's in it for me?" Isn't that the most common question in your mind? How many times have you done something for others that benefits them more than yourself? How can we ever compare to the terrorists who give up their lives to 'save mankind'! It must have been tough for them. Yeah, it's hard to be stupid and foolish like them.
2 year after that tragedy, life goes on. Yet fears continue to fluctuate in our heads although we may not be aware of it. We never know when tragedy will strike again. The thing is, where will it strike. I guess many people were glad or relieved when the mastermind of the Bali blast was given the death sentence. Yes, i think he deserved his sentence, simply because he took innocent lives for 'greater good'. Such extremist behaviour really triggers a keen sense of curiousity in the meaning behind these actions and the religious background they come from.
Enough being said, I would like to express my condolences to the victims, survivors and their families of the 9/11 tragedy.
It is a reminder to all to treasure those around us. While on the other hand, yes, some people deserve to have their guts cut out!
"I see you have chosen the path of death. So be it. But DO NOT choose for the others!"
