My department organised a beach volleyball competition on Monday at Siloso beach. There were 7 teams and each team was required to play 4 games. I did not expect to win big at volleyball since most of us are clueless about how the game goes. I myself had minimal experience.

And guess what, my team came in 3rd! WooHoo! The prize was an Umbro shoebag...something I need cuz my other shoebag's pretty small. This one's big. It was quite a lucky streak to be at 3rd place as we faced only 1 strong team. But we played well and put up a tough fight. (Didnt know i got talent in volleyball too*tsk tsk*) As the event was half day(morning to lunchtime) many of us took halfday leave from office so we could party at the beach. Yeah pple!

Just around noon, SMU pple starting streaming into the beach, much to our surprise. Then i found out it was their mid-term break and they were having an SMU sports event at the beach. That was one of the main reasons why many of us chose to stay, although it got boring towards the afternoon.

OK, now i'm sunburned. Darker but suffering for it. Should have brought the sunblock!
