::I'm Not Alone::
Tuesday, March 30, 2004

2004 is a great year i foresee...especially in the movie industry. So many upcoming great movies that will definitely keep me glued in the cinema.

1) Passion of the Christ - Don't really know if it will be good, but with all that hype, it's better to watch it to know its worth.

2) Girl next door - Ok, it may be a cheesy romantic comedy, but Elisha really steams up the scene. She's hot!

3) Hellboy - The trailer seems pretty good and action packed. It could be on-par with the other comic-turned-movies like X-men and Spiderman.

4) Van Helsing - Vampires, one of my favourite themes, take centrestage as Hugh Jackman plays a demonslayer. Looks pretty cool. The presence of Kate Beckinsale also makes this show a must-watch.

5) Spiderman 2 - Well, it's obvious that this show must be watched whether it turns out good or bad. Enough said.

6) Starwars Episode 3 - Want to know how Anakin Skywalker becomes Darth Vader? Well, it's better to watch. Read somewhere that there's plenty of fight scenes packed into this one.

7) Mean Girls - Okay, this is a bimboic(if there's such a word) show. Yeah, plenty of it I guess. Depending on how the reviews for this show turn out to be, I may just watch it for the heck of it.

8) The Day after Tomorrow - A really cool show that portrays a massive change in the eco system, the melting of the icebergs and the impact on civilization. The effects are great as well. Must watch!

9) Alien VS Predator - One of the eagerly anticipated movies since ages. The plans to make this movie started way back when I was in primary school. For those who enjoyed the Alien and Predator series, this show pit the 2 deadly races in a deathmatch. I really hope it is better than Freddy VS Jason.

10) Kill Bill Vol.2 - I'm not really very interested in this, maybe cuz I didnt really watch the first volume. Will watch it if the crowd votes majority.

11) Troy - The battle scenes from the trailer are breathtaking. I will definitely find time to catch this show.

12) The Punisher - As usual, another comicflick-turned-movie character lights up the screen. I will follow the crowd.

13) Shrek 2 - Sequels are always disappointing. Shrek was good. I hope this one can match it or be even better.

14) Resident Evil: Apocalyspe - Part 2 of Resident Evil, it's a horrific thriller. A zombie-infested town and fighting 'alone', it is enough to glue those who like such atmosphere. The plot may be dead but it's worth seeing the ugly side of science.

15) Chasing Liberty - This show opened in the US last month but have not reach Singapore. I wonder why. Hopefully it comes out soon or I would have to get the DVD. I'm a Mandy Moore fan you see.

16) 50 First Dates - A romantic comedy starring Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore. The Wedding Singer was quite good. Hope this will be the same too.

Ok these are the movies on my list so far. I think there may be more coming up in the second half of the year. But for now, let's enjoy these movies.
