Today's my 3rd lesson for Class 3 Driving. To tell the truth, I'm a little confused with the techniques applied to driving. The simultaneous control of the clutch, accelerator, brake and the steering wheel, is totally troublesome for me. Why? When I hit the brake to bring the car to a stop, the clutch has to go all the way in and the gear back to 1. When coast is clear, I ram down on the accelerator only to realise the clutch isn't at half-clutch and so the engine roars like a lion but the car stayed put like a dead tortoise. Too many actions! That's why i so-so-so favour the auto car. So easy, so slack. Just nice for me. BTW, I stalled once today, my first, spoiling my clean sheet so far. All because it was my first time turning into a main road and as I wanted to dash out, I over-released my clutch! Grr!
Oh, I always enjoyed ramming the accelerator as I'm suited for F1 and Rally racing. All the training on my PS2 would have gone to waste if I did not put speed to the test. Of course, I always have to end up slowing down thanks to the occasional pesdestrian crossings and the unfriendly drivers in their huge and powerful cars.
Be warned! Once I get my license, even a nissan sunny will become a porsche.
