I was at New Asia Bar on Friday evening. It was my second time there. A rather small and cosy place but the view still remained breathtaking at night. After a long week at work, it just seemed the perfect place to chill-out. As I sipped my Sour-apple Martini, I noticed the presence of many expats as well as office executives. Yes, this was a high class place indeed. My friend commented that this was the place to find your 'mummies'. Looking at the female executives around me, I could find a few pretty faces here and there. Yeah, they would be like in their late 20s or early 30s. Some were already married. A part of me just wanted to reach that stage where I could be at a more suitable level to date someone like them. On the other hand, I preferred it easy and slow, yes, the feeling of not being 20 yet. Maybe it's the way they dress, maybe it's the way they carry themselves, the appeal is there. There was one who caught my attention but she left quite early.

As the skies darkened, the alcohol flowed in as my colleagues ordered jugs after jugs of beer. What was it about beer that makes people want to down it glass after glass? Is it satisfaction? For me it's the taste. The bittersweet taste of beer is a constant reminder of how life is. The feeling is great and down-to-earth. But I'm not an alcoholic. I don't drink excessively. A bottle will suffice.

Yes, I have always marveled at how people spent money like water on alcohol. It is confirmed that the alcohol trade is definitely profitable. Hm, there is a possibility that I will set up a pub in future. The right location, the right crowd, the right prices!
