The night previously, I was in this pub, 'Le Chateau', which is connected to Music Underground. For the clubbers who do not know, it is at Specialist Centre. Anyway Music Underground is a club I would not recommend. Back to Le Chateau, we were there courtesy of a fellow colleague who recommended that place to us. The live band there play classic hits/oldies and I must say that I was impressed. The 3-men band hails from the Philippines. Using only guitars and powerful vocals, it was purely acoustic. Listening to the band did bring back good memories of the past. The band does take requests from the crowd too. A really cool place to chill out!
I will definitely be back there again. The only downfall is that the drinks are rather pricey, and the people there order drinks in bottles, not glasses.

Ok, so why Music Underground sucks? Because it's a techno club. It was hard not to hate at first as the crowd seemed spontaneous and wild. But once the music comes on, it turned me off. Seeing the crowd shaking to such horrid music, I could only grinned away. Imagine hearing 'Uptown girl' techno style. My mind really was left hanging for a brief moment. Or could it be that the Techno kids do not mix with RnB kids? Well, who cares but I hate it, yes, Techno sucks, truly.
